Death of a World
"After God died, Art died, and without it we were only left with War and Sex. Without Art we were unable to digest and without God we were unable to forgive. We were only left with animals. Would we eventually need to eat each other?"
I think this is a good description of our current point in history, and how we can have a silent whimper. The surreal discontinuity only reflects our own meaningless existence within society as slaves for exploitation (a timeless occupation). We are left only with our dreams for escapism, and that may be the most important part of our perception, to achieve salvation. Of course, a salvation without God may be confusing, but the Lord works in mysterious ways.
